The developer of SunTrust Plaza, Lincoln Properties, was looking for an innovative way to show their new office space to prospective tenants prior to construction. Our VR Studio was able to build a realistic “In-World” environment of various build-out options for prospective tenants to experience in what turned out to be a successful and innovative application. The building’s 3D geometry — developed during the design stage for the Architecture, Structure, and Mechanical disciplines — was used as the starting point for the VR build. Office levels featured a variety of sample build-out configurations in the space and the VR model was equipped with our standard toolset for navigation, visualization, and design review. In addition to the building itself, our team integrated a high definition 3D model of downtown Orlando to create a compelling interactive visualization in an immersive virtual environment. Users could freely tour the space and were afforded the sense of scale and presence that is unique to VR projects.
